Master Bedroom: Sleeping Soundly With Mattress Firm

How well do you sleep? I always considered myself to be a good sleeper...until we had kids that is. It seems like as soon as we got the boys sleep trained, my body did the reverse. I'm known to fall asleep during  a movie or even mid-conversation but somehow still toss and turn most of the night. Meanwhile, Lew spends a good portion of his week traveling for work and sleeping in hotel beds. Needless to say, we've been wanting (and needing) an upgrade at home in the sleep department!

So, when we had the opportunity to partner with Mattress Firm, we jumped at the chance to get the kind of rest we've been hoping for. And man have we ever! Thanks to our new adjustable base, we've found that sleeping with our legs slightly elevated is much more comfortable for both of us. I don't know how we slept any other way in the past. Plus, we can also use it to sit upright for a late night of work (or for some serious binge-watching).

Like the smart parents we are, Lewis and I decided to keep our adjustable bed a secret from the boys for a while. We know that if they see all the cool features + the under-bed light we'll never get the bed to ourselves again...and we just got Leo out of it! I'm sure I'll accidentally leave the remote somewhere, and they'll find out soon enough, but for now, it's been fun having the bed to ourselves in all it’s new glory.

We've had the best sleep of our lives over the past several weeks. No tossing or turning, reduced back pain for Lewis (he works out a lot and experiences soreness from weight lifting). I've also seen an increase in my total restful sleep time and reduced swelling in my foot from better circulation. We couldn't be happier with the results.
