Adam's Farm
Now that the boys are out of school "Camp Lamp" is officially in session. I'm always looking for something for us to do so yesterday we found ourselves at Adam's Farms for some berry picking! Any local readers--I would highly recommend this farm! We filled our baskets full, bought peaches, sweet potatoes, jam and homemade ice cream, and my total for all of this was just under $10! Good, cheap, wholesome, educational fun. Can't really beat it.
We got there around 10am and were literally the only ones there. It was perfect! Only 7 of London's berries made it into his basket...the rest ended up in his mouth. He's such a picky eater right now so I was just happy to see my kid eating fruit! The raspberry's and blackberries were SO so yummy and today we made a pie with the leftovers. Being at the farm made us realize how bad we want to have land one day! I don't know how well I'd do taking care of plants and animals, but seeing the boys run around the way they did brought us all pure joy. Can't wait to go back!!
