Date Night: Rooftops, Dinner & Sparklers
Happy Monday Friends!!
Saturday Lew and I got all dressed up for no reason at all but to go on a date & celebrate being stuck together fo' life!! :) My girlfriend and talented photographer Mecca Gamble captured part of our magical night. And Charron from Eye 4 Events surprised us with the sweetest styled rooftop staircase to take pictures on.

It always feels good being reminded that we are still an "us", along side being everyday exhausted parents. It's not always easy, but we try to do what we gotta do in our marriage to stay connected. Dating each other. Serving each other. Pillow talk. Pillow fights. Flirting. Complimenting and compromising often. Saying yes. Being a team. And celebrating our love. Even if that looks like getting dressed up in our finest clothes and heading to some restaurant with sparklers. People passing by smiled and congratulated the new "bride and groom". And I hope we can trick people into thinking we're newlyweds for the rest of our lives! ♥
